• Aisin hits the road with WJR Radio’s Paul W. Smith Show

    For the third tpws-2017ime, Aisin Group will sponsor WJR Radio’s “Paul W. Smith Show” as he broadcasts live from Japan. This time: Press Preview at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show, October 25-26, 2017.

    “Aisin has enjoyed a productive partnership with WJR and Paul W., who every day speaks directly to our customers, suppliers, community and prospective Aisin employees,” said John Clark, president, North American Sales Division, Aisin Group. “Paul W. is an extremely strong and positive voice for Detroit and the automotive industry here in Michigan. And, of course, as host of the number one morning drive-time radio program in the Midwest – he has been very good for Aisin.”

    The WJR-Aisin marketing relationship began in 2005 when the Paul W. Smith Show aired for the first time at a World Expo – from the USA Pavilion in Aichi, Japan. Since then Aisin (along with many of its customers) has jointly sponsored WJR broadcasts from motor shows in Frankfurt, Paris, and Detroit at the North American International Auto Show. Ten years after the first road trip with WJR, Aisin and Toyota collaborated to send Paul W. on the road to the Tokyo Motor Show in 2015.
