    The Electronics Project Engineer is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:


    • Planning and coordinating product specifications.
    • Creation of specifications and documents based on customer requirements, related parts specifications, and AISIN’s design policy.
    • Modification of specifications based on design test results, trial production results, and vehicle test results, etc.
    • Technical reports and negotiations for requirements of customer, plants AISIN’s suppliers, etc.
    • Design-in activity at customer.
    • Review and issue internal drawings.
    • Administration of related documents.
    • Design quality improvement.
    • Extract problems from manufacturing plants and market.
    • Analyze the root cause for in-line detects and market failure.
    • Solving products problems.
    • Confirm the effects of the countermeasure.
    • Establish the design standards.
    • Parts localization.
    • Research and recommend capable suppliers.
    • Make the drawing for local suppliers.
    • Evaluate Proto-samples.
    • Benchmarking for primary responsible products.


    • Planning & preparation of evaluation.
    • Product evaluation. (Durability test, Vehicle test, etc.).
    • Find problems of products out from the process and product itself.
    • Make and explain the test result report to customer, AISIN, and NAPs.
    • Investigate, plan and order the equipment for evaluation tests and jig.

    Product Planning

    • Coordination for project strategy.
    • Investigation for technical trend, market trend, product trend, and regulations, etc.

     Engineering Support to Customer and North American Plants (NAPs)

    • Products launch support (Resident Engineering at Plants) to NAPs and customers.
    • Attend investigation meeting of off-tool and off-process parts at customer plant with NPA members.
    • Provide new products information to NAPs.

    Sales Engineering

    • Preparation of presentation materials.
    • Presentation to customers in order to promote business.
    • Technical negotiations with customers after presentation.
    • Exceed responsibilities due to situation.
    • Overtime fluctuates due to situation.

    Required Skills and Abilities Essential Skills and Experience:

    • 2-5 years of related professional experience for electronics engineering job. Especially following related experience are desirable such as electro-magnetic sensor or actuator engineering for automotive system. {Hall effect IC sensors, electrical solenoid valve, de motor, etc.)
    • 2D and 3D modeling skill using CATIA or some design tools and mechanical drawing skill.

    Beneficial Skills and Experience:

    • Electrical sensor or actuator engineering job experience
    • Related production engineering knowledge


    • Bachelor of science in mechanical or electrical engineering

    Travel Requirements

    • Approximately 30% to meet the needs of business
