    The prospective Research Analyst is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:

    • Support research analysis and communication of all Federal and State regulations that might affect Aisin products
    • Contribute to Aisin product strategy and vision development through trend and market analysis
    • Study and analyze market, customer demands and adoption trends, industry developments, competitor’s positions, regulatory trends and their impacts on our organization
    • Attend key events to gather relevant information. Summarize and present findings to company and management
    • Work to increase communication and cooperation with Regulatory and Tech planning Japan
    • Lead research activity related to regulatory and new technology developments that may affect Aisin

    Required Skills and Abilities

    • Knowledge of regulatory, testing and safety related issues (CAFÉ/GHG, NCAP/safety, Cyber Security, etc)
    • Technical ability required to understand regulatory trends and new technology affect by them
    • Good written and oral presentation communications skills
    • At least 3 years’ experience in related field

    Beneficial Skills and Experience:

    • Past experience working with NHTSA, IIHS, MEMA, OESA, CAR, Novation Analytics, CARB, EPA, …

    Education/Training/Certifications

    • Engineering or advanced technical degree required.
    • Fluent in PowerPoint

    Attendance/Work Hour Requirements

    • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
    • Must be willing and available to work such weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.

    Travel Requirements

    • Approximately 10%
