Establishes Two New Companies in North America (November 13, 2001) |

1, 2001 - Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd. (President: Kanshiro Toyoda, Headquarters: Kariya,
Aichi Prefecture) has established two new manufacturing companies in North America.
With these additions, the Aisin Group now has 11 manufacturing companies in North
America.
Aiming to be a global supplier, Aisin Seiki will continue to expand its overseas
production sites and establish efficient production systems, while adapting to
local business climates.

1. Outline of Aisin Brake & Chassis
The company exclusively manufactures brake and chassis related products, such
as hydraulic brake boosters.
