World Corp. of America Relocates Its Headquarters
Expanding
the function of sales and technology development for North American operations

Aisin
World Corp. of America (AWA, President: Junichi Nishimura), the North American
operation company of Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd., has relocated its Headquarters Office
to Commerce Center Drive, Plymouth, Michigan. It was located at Keel Street in
the same city on the outskirts of Detroit.
Following this relocation, an opening ceremony was held at AWA's new building
on October 10, from 16:00 local time. About 80 participants were present, including
those from Toyota Motors and the Big 3.
This relocation to a double-sized new office was implemented to integrate automotive
parts sales and add new personnel to enhance the sales function, with the aim
of expanding operations in North America, as well as to reinforce the testing
and evaluation facility and increase the number of technical engineers at the
Technical Center, which was established aiming to strengthen the function of technology
development in North America.
