| Aisin advocates environmental
preservation and corporate citizenship as one of our corporate principles. Aisin
believes in "harmony with society and nature" and undertakes tasks to
actively meet this goal. "Be With" are key words for our community
involvement; we encourage volunteer activities in which many employees participate.
This employee activity achieves positive results to support local charities, local
civic groups, and events which involve the local community as a whole. Aisin also
sponsors local educational organizations for activities, which support future
research and development. By promoting continued activities towards environmental
awareness and preservation, all Aisin companies meet the requirements of ISO 14001.
