| Central to our mission at Aisin is preserving the environment
for the next generation, and our activities focus on saving energy, recycling,
and reducing environmental impact of the production process. Our Global Environment
Committee, established in 1992, set forth specific plans of action for environmental
protection, calling for a 10% reduction of energy consumption by 2010. We are working to achieve that goal two years earlier, fully dedicated
to becoming a "zero emission" company, one that eliminates adverse gaseous,
liquid and solid emissions and exists in harmony with nature. |
