Global Tier One automotive supplier AISIN Group today announced that it will participate in the 2019 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Jan. 14-27, at Cobo Center, in Detroit.

The exhibit will once again be prominently located on the main show floor among the world’s leading automakers and other global, Tier One automotive suppliers. NAIAS 2019 marks AISIN’s seventh consecutive year of participation at the annual Detroit event. The joint exhibit of six AISIN Group companies includes Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd., Aisin Takaoka Co., Ltd., Aisin Chemical Co., Ltd., Aisin AW Co., Ltd., Aisin AI Co., Ltd., and ADVICS Co., Ltd.

With an eye toward future mobility, the AISIN Group exhibit will feature a wide range of products in the area of electrification and automated driving in response to rapid structural changes in the global auto industry, and great interest among automakers.

On display will be a 1-Motor Hybrid Transmission based on the segment leading automatic transmissions that are AISIN’s flagship products. Also, four types of eAxle drive modules suitable for a wide range of electrification needs will be exhibited. This series consists of motors, gear boxes, and power control units (PCUs) in various patterns. By combining an integrated or separate type PCU, a coaxial or a parallel axis type speed reducer, and a motor with capacity tailored to customer needs, it is possible to offer drive modules suitable for all types of vehicles including hybrid electric vehicles, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, electric vehicles, and fuel cell vehicles.

In addition, AISIN Group will present an extensive lineup of electric pumps that lubricate and cool various components such as inverters, motors and batteries; two types of regenerative cooperative brakes – by-wire and ESC – will also be on display in response to growing customer needs.
