AISIN Group Unveils CASE Capabilities at CES 2020

For the third consecutive year, AISIN Group exhibited at one of the hottest tech shows on the planet: CES-Las Vegas, January 7-10, 2020. The Group demonstrated its capabilities to support so-called CASE technologies (Connected, Automated, Shared and Electric) by introducing a new concept car, “i-mobility TYPE-C20,” a fully automated electric community vehicle for anyone with any mobility needs.

On the AISIN Group stage, hourly demonstrations featuring the TYPE-C20 and ILY-Ai, AISIN’s personal mobility vehicle in a future shopping scenario were presented to more than 2,000 attendees. AISIN Group also showed its iconic anatomy of mobility, AISIN’s Demo Car, officially known as i-mobility TYPE-T featuring the parts and systems manufactured by the comprehensive Tier One supplier.

Throughout the week, interest was high at the AISIN Group exhibit and traffic was constant with thousands of visitors stopping by. Both existing customers and start-ups looking for partnerships enjoyed learning about AISIN capabilities and meeting with AISIN Group executive and technical members from all over the world. VIP guests included Michigan Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist, and Michigan Economic Development Corporation President Jeff Mason. Also, dozens of international print, broadcast, and online media checked in for interviews and to learn about the future of mobility… the AISIN way. See you next year in the new West Hall at CES 2021, January 6-9.
