Motor Bella 2021 A Great Success

AISIN was pleased to recently participate in the Motor Bella event on Sept. 21-23, 2021 at the historic M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan. Motor Bella was born from the need for new and innovative automotive events, and the desire to provide a much needed in-person automotive experience post-pandemic.  Motor Bella did for 2021 what Detroit’s North American International Auto Show will do again when it returns in 2022.

The AISIN exhibit was located near the main entrance in a high-visibility area, with impossible-to-miss AISIN signs, flags and banners. The exhibit featured our world-renowned iMobility Type-T, a wire frame “demo car” that features the majority of products produced by AISIN as well as an iconic 27-ft Airstream trailer – dubbed the “AISIN Airstream” – that was used for private customer meetings, media interviews, government meetings and general hospitality.  Media interviews were held with WJR Radio, WWJ Radio, Channel 7 TV and Automotive News, and we welcomed VIP visitors including Michigan Lt. Governor Gilchrist and Japan General Consul Shinto.

In addition, the Hattori Racing brought the NASCAR Toyota Supra as well as driver Austin Hill to sign autographs and give away t-shirts.

Not only was Motor Bella a success for AISIN, it was an overall success as well according to official stats from show organizers:

  • 902 journalists from 29 states and 16 Countries
  • Multiple Vehicle and Product Debuts including new Toyota Tundra
  • More than 1,000 consumers per day (during public days) rode on the track, experiencing firsthand the latest mobility technologies.
  • 475,515 total social media impressions
