Under our grown cherry blossom tree planted in the year of our daughter’s birth, celebrating new kindergarten year of our daughter Yuzu with my wife Yukiko. Cherry blossom is a symbol of new start and celebrations because new year for schools and businesses generally start in this season, April, in Japan. By the way, this calligraphy is artistically written by Yuzu, and it means ‘celebrating entry to kindergarten’, … but it is too artistic to read even for Japanese.
